Freckles had a baby! For those of you who are not Lost fans, that would be Evangeline Lilly, one of the stars of the long running ABC hit show. Lilly has given birth to a baby boy, her first child. The father is boyfriend Norman Kali, whom she met while she was working on the show. Kali was part of the show’s crew.
According to Us Weekly, blue. The mag is reporting that Lilly delivered a boy.
Don't look for the privacy-minded actress to divulge intimate details on the baby's birth any time soon, however. She told E! News she wanted to step away from the spotlight once Lost came to an end.
"I want to have some quiet space," Lilly said. "[I want to] drop off the radar a little bit and enjoy a little bit of normalcy."
Thus, it's perhaps not surprising that news of Lilly's pregnancy first became apparent not via press release, but when photos of her sporting a sizeable baby bump surfaced in April.
This is the first child for Lilly and boyfriend Norman Kali, who worked as a production assistant on the hit ABC show.

Lilly kept her pregnancy very quiet. She was only spotted with a baby bump a week or so before giving birth. She seems to be enjoying her annonimity now that Lost has wrapped.
“People are excited to try on the next chapter of their lives,” she told New York Magazine when asked about the show. “This show is all-encompassing. We have had very little experience outside of the show during the last six years because it’s just so demanding; it requires so much of us. So, it’s exciting to have your freedom back, essentially.”
Lilly hasn’t been shy about the fact that she doesn’t really care whether she goes back to acting or not.
“I’m definitely planning on taking a break for a little while,” she said. “I consider acting a day job — it’s not my dream; it’s not my be-all, end-all.”
